Best Practices for Attracting Talent
1. Talented people have lots of options. To get their attention you need to sell your company and the job. Tell them why your company is the best to work for.

2. Money is important but fit is even more important. To attract the right people for your company tell them what your company is about. What is the founding vision, the mission and the values that keep your team committed and engaged.

3. Spell out the steps to succeed at your company. Companies always give people more than they could possibly do in the year, but which duties or tasks are most important to the company. What is the one thing that you really want this person to accomplish this year.
