Senior Reimbursement Manager

Job Description: 

Essentially, this position is responsible for directing and executing reimbursement strategy for existing and future products. This includes economic data creation to meet payer needs and influencing health policy to shape future reimbursement.

This position maintains high-level relationships with third-party payers, creates global strategic reimbursement plans, provides input to clinical trial design to meet the needs of payers, creates economic analyses, leads advocacy and coalition work to meet the needs of payers, serves as the principle spokesperson for building the Reimbursement strategy, and advances the field organization’s knowledge and comfort level with reimbursement.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Managing complex cross-functional strategic product development initiatives for pharmaceutical manufacturer clients.
Analysis of complex financial and business situations including distillation of the issues, developing insights, developing potential solutions and driving to appropriate conclusions.
Managing deadlines, scope and converging opinions to develop final products and services.
Developing concise executive communications including emails, presentations and executive briefings.
Handling a high pressure environment with multiple competing priorities.
Managing cross-functional project teams of both internal and external groups

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree in Business, or related field.
5 to 7 years of market intelligence, strategic planning, project management or cross-functional business experience.
Experience with pharmaceutical manufacturer facing business units, specifically working with specialty reimbursement services.
Strong business analysis skills and familiarity with financial models.
Able to develop and model hypotheses and conclusions while identifying assumptions.
Experience with Microsoft Office software.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Advanced problem solving skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally to define, scope, analyzes and resolve strategic issues.
Willingness to share opinions and take risk.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage work load and meet project deadlines.
