Respiratory Therapist II

Description Delivers respiratory care services under the order of a physician and in accordance with protocols established by the hospital, other health care providers and functions in situations of unsupervised patient contact requiring individual judgment. Performs noninvasive and invasive procedures with minimal supervision. Occasionally provides supervision to others.
Requirements Must be a graduate of AMA approved program of RRT. Must have current Florida RRT license, BLS, ACLS/NRP/PALS. AARC and FSRC are preferred. Must have one year of acute care experience, prefer 5+ yrs experience in a Trauma setting. Must have Interpersonal skills, Respiratory Assessment/eEvaluation skills, Critical Thinking skills, Neo/Pediatric Care skills, Emergency and Adult Critical Care skills, and Airway Management skills. Must be able to demonstrate sound clinical judgment. Must have effective Communication skills, Teamwork skills, and excellent Customer Service skills. Must have basic Windows application skills
